Police have revised the number of Swede’s confirmed dead after the Asian tsunami disaster to 215. 335 are still missing.

Authorities warn that the number of dead will increase as the identification process continues.

Sweden, with its nine million inhabitants, remains one of the countries outside of Asia with the highest per capita death tolls.

The complete death toll for the region has reached 290,000 and according to the US Geological Survey, the earthquake measured 9.0 on the Richter scale, making it the largest quake worldwide in four decades.
