Military: Very likely a small sub
Closer examination by the Swedish military of a photograph of a suspected foreign underwater vessel in the Stockholm archipelago has revealed that it was mostly "likely" a small submarine.
The SvD newspaper, citing a source close to the investigation, said on Monday that the now infamous photograph take last month, revealed two masts and part of the body of what was likely a small submarine. So likely, that the military ranked it second in its list of classifications for confirmation of identity.
The Swedish hunt for suspected foreign underwater activity in the Stockholm archipelago in October attracted international headlines. In the end, there has been no official confirmation that anything was definitely found, apart from the original observations.
