Directors lash out against gender pigeonholing

The director of Stockholm Film Festival says they are trying to highlight female directors, but Radio Sweden heard from two directors who are tired of being interviewed "as women".

Women directed over 60 of the movies this year at the Stockholm Film Festival – about a third of the films playing.

Director Git Scheynius says that in reality there are quite few movies by women, when you look at what is playing in cinemas.
