Human bones found in dig to extend broadband
A team digging to put in broadband cables in Björklinge outside Uppsala had a surprise find on Monday. Suddenly they hit parts of a skeleton, clearly from a human body.
Police were called to the scene, but relatively quickly they concluded there was nothing suspicious about how the person had died. The bones turned out to have come from an ancient graveyard not too far from Björklinge Church, and so the police investigations were taken over by archaeologists, Swedish Radio Uppland reports.
