Alarms go off at the public library in Skara if anyone tries to remove a book without checking it out, thanks to embedded chips. But now the system has caught someone trying to steal toilet paper.

Not every public library may embed chips in its toilet paper, but the Skara library does, and the system obviously works. Swedish Radio’s P4 Skaraborg reports that the library has decided not to file a police complaint against the person who was caught in the act.
