This Christmas, the folks behind Ung Cancer, a support organization for young adults with cancer, is hoping that this year, people will get into the Christmas spirit not by donating money necessarily, but by fulfilling the wish of a young cancer patient by doing them a favor.

The organization published a list of about 80 items or experiences today that their members have requested, including a new kitchen floor, a ski trip to the Alps, and a star. Julia Mjörnstedt, the general secretary of the organization, spoke to Radio Sweden about the concept behind the campaign and said that it has already been successful.

"I think there's about 20 of the wishes that are already fulfilled," she said.
