Main opposition party names new economic spokesman
The new Moderate spokesperson for economic affairs has been named as former social insurance minister Ulf Kristersson.
The announcement was made by Anna Kinberg Batra, herself nominated as new party leader on Thursday.
Formerly the largest party in the centre-right Alliance coalition government, the Moderates have been in opposition since losing September's election.
After the election result both the outgoing Prime Minister, Moderate leader Fredrik Reinfeldt, and the outgoing Finance Minister, Anders Borg, said they were going to resign from politics.
