Sweden's men's football team has slumped even further in Fifa's new international ranking, falling a notch to 44th place. That is its worst ever placing, Swedish Radio's sports department reports.

Germany and Argentina top the chart, Denmark is at number 30, Iceland at 33 and Norway at 67. Finland is the lowest-ranked Nordic team, at number 70.
