The Swedish National Police Board will review its work practices during large-scale catastrophies, following the massive forest fire in the Västmanland region this summer.

In a report, the Board highlight a number of shortcomings in their operational work during the forest fire. Among other things, the police did not have a representative at the headquarters of the incident commander.

An earlier report also looked at the work of the fire and rescue services.
