The youngest of the king’s children says she is moving back to Europe.

On Friday Princess Madeleine and her husband Chris O’Neill announced they are expecting their second child. They now tell Swedish television SVT they will definitely leave their home in New York.

Chris O’Neill has a background in Europe, but has also worked in the USA.

”In the near future we will move to Europe”, says Princess Madeleine to SVT. “That’s where we have our families.”

Their first child, Leonore, was born in New York on the 20th of February.

In order to be eligible as a potential monarch, a Swedish royal baby must be brought up in Sweden within the Lutheran faith.
