Australian orders pizza for Gävle Goat
The traditional Gävle Yule Goat has survived Xmas without being burnt down - and is attracting attention from the other side of the planet.
In the week before Christmas the guards protecting the goat had pizza ordered from them, from a well-wisher in Australia, reports Gefle Dagbladet.
And two Australians were chased away from the goat in the small hours of Saturday morning, by police.
They were questioned on the scene and are not suspected of any crime, reports Swedish television SVT.
One was reported to have thrown a liquid on the leg of the goat. But no bottle or trace of flammable liquid was found.
The giant Gävle goat is built out of straw and is usually burnt down by unknown perpetrators before Christmas.
A twitter account for the goat detailing "my struggle to survive arson attacks" has over 8,000 followers all over the world.
