On last day of his official visit to Brazil, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven visited the aircraft manufacturers Embraer Saturday. The factory, outside Sao Paulo, would be responsible for making most of the 36 Gripen jet fighters Brazil plans to buy from Sweden.

But the SEK 40 billion contract hasn’t been signed yet, and the deal was reportedly at the top of the agenda when Stefan Löfven met Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff during his visit.

Löfven also gave a speech to the Swedish-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo Saturday. The former trade union president stressed the advantages of investing in and trading with Sweden, with its high level of education and close contact between company management and the factory floor.
