White powder sent to government offices

Published onsdag 7 januari 2015 kl 19.27

An envelope containing a white powder has been sent to the Swedish government offices. Police is now investigating the case. A preliminary test of the substance indicate that the powder is not dangerous, Swedish Television News reports.

The police see the incident as an illegal threat, but there is currently no suspect. The substance has been sent for analysis. The results are expected Friday or in the beginning of next week.

On monday, the Enforcement Office in Malmö also received an envelope with a white powder. Several of the employees were isolated and examined by doctors. It later turned out the powder was not dangerous.
