Trains stopped between Malmö and Lund

Published torsdag 8 januari 2015 kl 13.43

All train traffic between Malmö and Lund was cancelled at lunchtime Thursday because of an accident outside Lund.

Until then, the Swedish Transport Administration, has arranged a number of work-arounds, for example, SJ fast trains towards Gothenburg and Stockholm, as well as the Öresund train on the Södra stambana towards Alvesta, Växjö and Kalmar, will be starting in Lund.

The Öresund train on the Gothenburg - Malmö / Copenhagen line is not stopping in Lund, but rather making an extra top in Kävlinge, and being led to and from Malmö via the Lommabana.

The Påga trains on the Helsingborg - Simrishamn line is also being led via the Lommabana and is not stopping at the ordinary stations between Kävlinge and Lund. Other Påga trains north of Malmö are being forced to stop in Lund, rather than going further.
