Over a week before opening in Swedish cinemas, Universal's Fifty Shades Of Grey has broken the country's record for pre-purchased tickets to a movie premiere.

Based on E. L. James' eponymous best-selling novel, Fifty Shades Of Grey is about the life-changing experiences of student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) as she embarks on an erotic affair with multi-millionaire Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan).

Just over a week before the opening on February 13th, Swedish cinemas had sold roughly 125,000 tickets for the premiere alone.
