Both Eric Saade and Jessica Andersson, who've each won Sweden's Melodifestivalen song contest in the past, are going directly to the finals this year, after their performances on Saturday night in Gothenburg.

Saade competed with the song "Sting" last night. In 2011, he won with his song "Popular", which later went on to come in third at the Eurovision song contest.

Jessica Andersson's current entry is a ballad called "Can't hurt me now". She won Melodifestivalen in 2011 as part of the duo Fame.

Dolly Style, as well as Behrang Miri with his companion Victor Crone, will go on to compete in a later round, held in Helsingborg, while Molly Pettersson Hammar, Daniel Gildelöw and Rikcard Söderberg and Elize Ryd were knocked out.

The next heat will be held in Malmö on Valentine's Day.
