Lövin on Ebola fact-finding mission to West Africa
Swedish International Development Cooperation Minister Isabella Lövin is to travel to Liberia and Sierra Leone next week to discuss the effects of the Ebola outbreak in the region, news agency TT reports.
Lövin is to meet Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as part of the visit.
In a statement Lövin says: "The Ebola outbreak has hit communities hard, against health care systems, as well as against the possibilities for people to provide for themselves. I'm going there to listen and see how Sweden best can help to support these countries in the future."
