Police have confirmed that the suscpicious package sent to the newspaper Nerikes Allehanda, addressed to Lars Vilks, was harmless.

The package came from Germany and the room it arrived to was cordoned-off while the bomb squad from Stockholm examined it.

Nerikes Allehanda, from Örebro, was the paper that published Vilks' cartoon of Mohammed as a dog in 2007 that sparked the controversy and threats.
