A large oil spill was discovered in Gothenburg Wednesday afternoon. The emergency services and the coast guard are trying to determine where the leak is coming from and how to contain it, Swedish Television reports.

The spill was discovered around 3 in the afternoon and five hours later, the emergency services have still not figured out what is causing the spill.

According to the emergency services the spill is the size of several soccer fields and much larger than they originally thought. They have five fire trucks and three other vehicles in place in an attempt to contain it while they find the source of the leak.
