Police give all-clear after Stockholm school bomb scare
A school in Djursholm, north of Stockholm, was evacuated for several hours on Tuesday after a bomb threat was called in to the school's switchboard. Police said a search of the building found nothing suspicious.
The British International School of Stockholm received the threat about 9:45 a.m. and about 250 people were evacuated.
"Someone called in the threat," said Svern-Erik Olsson, a spokesperson with the Stockholm Police speaking with daily tabloidAftonbladet.
Police said bomb technicians searched the premises but found no bomb in the school. After the investigation, police lifted all roadblocks placed around the building about 2:30 p.m.
Authorities told news agency TT that they have launched an investigation into unlawful threats against a group.
