Eurovision revelers swarm Stockholm
Visitors from around Europe and beyond have descended on Stockholm ahead of the first Eurovision semifinal Tuesday night.
With many having just arrived for Eurovision week, Radio Sweden visited Kungsträdgården to speak with visitors to the Eurovision Village.
Some were rookies like first-timer Tyoma who was visiting from Russia with his mother Larissa.
"This year we managed to make a trip and we are very happy we are here," said Larissa who guessed Russia would win the contest.
Veteran Eurovision visitors like Anders from Skåne said he hopes a warm country takes the cake.
"I think we are at home all the time... Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Estonia. I want to go somewhere else... Cyprus, Spain," he said.
