Zlatan Ibrahimović quits PSG
The captain of the Swedish national men’s football team, Zlatan Ibrahimović, confirmed today that he is leaving Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Tomorrow’s match against Nantes will be Ibrahimović’s last at the Parc des Princes stadium before his contract with PSG runs out on June 30th.
“My last game tomorrow at Parc des Princes. I came like a king, left like a legend,” Ibrahimović tweeted to his followers.
"Ibra" joined PSG in 2012, and has since won the Ligue 1 four years in a row. He has scored 36 league goals this year. PSG wrote on its website that the Swedish striker would return to the club in a managerial capacity.
Speculation is rife over which club Ibrahimović will join next, but no official announcement has yet been made.
