One of the biggest musical stars in Sweden, Håkan Hellström, who's often compared to the famous "Born in the USA" rocker from New Jersey, will play in his hometown stadium Ullevi this weekend. Train tickets from Stockholm to Gothenburg are virtually sold out.

Hellström, who's generally considered a first-rate stage performer, is looking to repeat the success of an acclaimed show at the Ullevi stadium in 2014 when he broke an attendance record there.

"He broke the record that was earlier held by Bruce Springsteen," said Johan Lindqvist, a music columnist at the regional daily Göteborgs Posten. "Håkan maybe doesn't like to talk about it, but he's often compared to Bruce music style-wise. He's singing about his local neighborhood, and he's got a big band with a lot of horns, so the music has a lot of connections."
