Trade unions representing workers in the industrial sector have demanded a 2.8% wage increase next year.

The minimum monthly increase should be SEK 460, representatives from five industrial trade unions said at a news conference on Friday.

The request for 2.8% is the same as last year, which eventually resulted in a rise of 2.2%.

Traditionally, wage increases requested by the industrial unions are a benchmark for other unions ahead of their demands.
