Loreen makes a comeback in Melodifestivalen 2017
Next year's line-up has been announced for Melodifestivalen, Sweden's domestic competition to select a song for the Eurovision Song Contest. Several former winners are back, including Loreen.
Former Eurovision Song Contest winners Loreen (2012) and Charlotte Perrelli (1999) are making a comeback on Swedish Saturday night TV next year.
They have been included in the line-up announced by for Melodifestivalen 2017, the competition to select Sweden's representative for the European Song Contest.
Other contests making a comeback include Roger Pontare, while there are 13 debutants, such as Anton Hagman and You Tubers "Det vet du".
Loreen, who competes in the final programme in Skelleftå, 25 February, will be singing a song called ”Statements”.
The oldest competitor is 87-year-old blues veteran Owe Thörnqvist, with his self-penned ”Boogieman Blues”.
The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Kiev in May.
