Malmö fire under control
Fire fighters have gained control of a fire in a recycling centre in Malmö. Nearby residents are no longer advised to stay indoors.
The fire started on in a recycling centre in the Spillepengen neighbourhood in Malmö on Tuesday morning. A 100-150 square metre area of plastic and electric waste is currently burning, and heavy smoke spread northward towards Burlöv.
Rescue service personnel had advised residents in the area and in the Lomma, Burlöv and Staffanstorp municipalities to stay indoors and shut windows and ventilation, but that warning has now been lifted.
