Öresund Bridge open again after accident
The Öresund Bridge between Malmö and Copenhagen has reopened after being closed in both directions for part of Thursday afternoon after two cars collided midway across.
"The accident happened in the lane going towards Denmark, but in order to make sure that rescue vehicles could get through, they closed both lanes," Jens Genders, press spokesman for the Öresund Bridge, told Sweden's TT newswire.
Several ambulances were sent to the scene, but according to SOS Alarm, none of those involved needed to be taken by ambulance to a hospital.
Train traffic between Sweden and Denmark was not affected.
