West coast train traffic hit by derailment
Thousands of travellers are affected as a train carrying dangerous goods has derailed in Varberg, in Halland in southern Sweden.
The alarm came in the small hours of Tuesday, as a 28-wagon-long train derailed. Four of the wagons were carrying substances classified as dangerous goods.
A Radio P4 Halland reporter describes the tracks as "twisted like noodles."
Busses are replacing trains on the busy line between Gothenburg and Halmstad. Some tell P4 Halland that they will have to miss work today.
