MP and Moderate Party Board member Hanif Bali told Radio Sweden that leader Anna Kinberg Batra should put herself up for a vote of confidence by the party members.

Bali would not say whether he thinks that Anna Kinberg Batra should resign, but he does believe that the party needs to change to be successful going forward which includes a vote on all members of leadership.

“If it is the next (party leader) or the current, it does not really matter,” he said. “The most important thing is to be a person who can communicate our politics, and also do that in a way that people are interested to listen about what our politics are.”
