All Survivors in Private Plane Crash

Published måndag 26 september 2005 kl 12.18

All three survivors have been rescued after a small plane crashed in northern Sweden Sunday afternoon.

The plane crashed into a mountainside in the northwestern part of the province of Dalarna. Because of the difficult terrain, it took four hours for a rescue helicopter to find the wreck.

The 67 year old pilot was stuck fast in the plane with chest and skull injuries, while one of the two passengers had suffered a broken arm. The other passenger had  no physical injuries. The pilot is reported to be in stable condition at the University Hospital in Uppsala.
