Swede Accused of Terrorism in Bosnia

Published måndag 7 november 2005 kl 11.41

A Bosnian court has opened an investigation into a Swede and a Turk on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack.

They were arrested in Sarajevo last month, in an operation that involved raids on two houses, which yielded weapons and explosives.

It is unclear if there is a connection with a suspected Jihadist recruiter which ”Newsweek” magazine says was based in Sweden but moved to Sarajevo. Investigators believe he helped run a network recruiting European youth to go to Iraq.
