"Zlatan" Takes Home Top Football Award

Juventus striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the Golden Ball award as Sweden’s Player of the Year on Monday.

The 24 year old Ibrahimovic, said in a pre-recorded interview broadcast during the Swedish soccer federation’s annual televised gala, that he was ”very proud”.

A native of Malmö, in southern Sweden, Ibrahimovic scored 16 goals in 35 matches for Juventus in his first season in the Italian Series A league.

He previously played for Ajax Amsterdam and Malmo FF.
