Violence Against Teens Charted
According to a study from the Swedish Save the Children organization, half of 18 year old boys here say they have been subjected to violence.
The report is based on a survey conducted on the online community Lunarstorm. Boys say they are more likely to experience violence at school or on the streets, while girls are more often affected at home or within romantic relationships.
Most of the boys say that the violence comes from someone they don’t know. One girl in six says she has been threatened by a boyfriend.
