Saddam Officials Seek Asylum Here

The Swedish police say a dozen top-ranking officials from Saddam Hussein’s regime have sought asylum in this country.

The head of the police division for war crimes and crimes against humanity has told the AFP press bureau there have been around 10 complaints filed against former Iraqi officials here. They are accused of crimes against humanity.

All other information is classified pending the outcomes of the investigations.
