Statue of Liberty and Eiffel Tower: Meet the Moose

Published onsdag 7 december 2005 kl 11.49

The world’s largest moose is to attract tourists to Sweden’s chilly north.

The authorities in the city of Skellefteå have approved the construction of a moose 47 meters long and 45 meters tall. It will hold 350 guests in a restaurant and conference facility, with an observation deck inside the horns.

The giant moose will be placed on the top of a hill with a view over the city and snow-capped mountains, and is expected to be finished in two years.
