The United States has requested the extradition of a Swedish citizen from the Czech Republic.

He was arrested in December at Prague’s international airport, while flying from Stockholm to Beirut. The man, who was born in Lebanon, moved to Sweden in 1984, and became a Swedish citizen five years later.

He is wanted in the U.S. on suspicion of plotting to set up a terrorist training camp in Oregon. Press reports say it is unclear how long the extradition process will take.

The man has been jailed twice in Sweden, for assaulting a police officer, drugs, and the illegal possession of weapons.
