Social Democratic election strategy dossier leaked

Published torsdag 2 mars 2006 kl 12.34

As political campaigning continues here in Sweden, newspaper reports claim that the social democrats have decided to turn their backs on the little opposition Christian Democrats – in hopes of keeping them out of the news and hindering this party and the opposition Liberals, the Center and the liberal conservatives to get into power.

In the meantime, the head of the liberal conservatives has just returned from a trip to the United States – but has been quick to distance himself from the Republican Party which is usually considered a brother party for the Swedes.

Party leader Fredrik Reinfeldt says he rejects President Bush’s Christian views, support for the death penalty and opposition to abortions.
