Weather Update: Municipalities Brace for Spring Floods
The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute fears an unusually forceful spring flood in southern Sweden this year. The long, snow-rich winter means that many municipalities are already preparing for extensive flooding.
The unusually chilly start to spring also means that many animals and insects won’t survive and so, there may be fewer ticks and snakes this year.
Monday was an overcast, rainy day for much of Sweden with snowfall in the North.
