Interest Rate Rise For June
Some bad news for homeowners in Sweden, interest rates are set to rise in June.
Sweden’s Central Bank said on Thursday that its decision to hold rates steady in April was not clear cut and experts said the comments, along with slightly higher inflation, made a June rise all but certain.
The crown strengthened on the news, which combined with slightly higher than expected inflation figures for April.
Staying with business news and the Swedish budget airline FlyMe is to buy its Danish based competitor Sterling for around 2 billion kronor according to reports.
FlyMe is also said to be keen on joining forces with airlines Norwegian and Finnair in a bid to become a Nordic air giant.
