German Prostitutes Slam Swedish Soccer Leader

The head of the Swedish national soccer football team has been sharply criticized by German prostitutes for his statement denouncing prostitution during the coming world championships .

Some German critics say they condemn trafficing but since prostitution is legal in Germany, the Swedish comments are offensive.

The Swedish ombudsman for gender equality has captured recently headlines here and aboard for suggesting that the Sweden boycott the championsips in Germany because of the expected flood of prostitutes coming for the increased business.

While prostitution is legal in Sweden, it’s illegal to pay for sex here. Some German critics and others conclude that Sweden should not try to export what they call sexual imperialism.
