Sweden Changing Ban on File-Sharing?

Published fredag 9 juni 2006 kl 13.51

The Swedish minister of justice claims he’s changing his mind and could accept alterations to the present law banning file-sharing on the internet – if a fee is charged for the downloading of music and films.

He says the present law is good since it is supposed to protect the copyrights of the artists – but that since so many are in favor of file-sharing and are presently does o that a new way has to be found to safeguard the incomes of those depending on the sale of their CDs and films.
