Shots Fired In NK Robbery

Published torsdag 29 juni 2006 kl 14.57

There was panic thursday morning inside Stockholm’s most upmarket and well known department store NK when shots were fired during the attempted robbery of a jewellery store.

Two men were arrested outside the store. Several witnesses say they heard gunshots. Police say no injuries have been reported.

A moped was taken by police in connection with the arrests.

Former Swedish Foreign Minister Anna Lindh was stabbed to death at NK in 2003.
