Sweden’s Johan Edfors shot a final round 63 Sunday, to win the Scottish Open golf championship. Claiming his third European tour title in four months, Edfors came from 6 shots behind, to win by two strokes.

In Båstad in southern Sweden Sunday, Tommy Robredo of Spain overwhelmed Russia’s Nikolay Davydenko to win the Swedish Open tennis tournament. Sweden’s Jonas Bjorkman won his 48th ATP doubles title in Båstad Sunday, teaming with fellow Swede Thomas Johansson to beat Oliver Marach of Austria and Christopher Kas of Germany in a three set match.

Swedish high jumper Kajsa Bergqvist made the world’s best jump so far this year at the Swedish Athletics Championships Sunday, reaching 2 meters 4 centimeters at the third attempt. Bergqvist, who is the current World Champion in the women’s high jump, has put her rivals on notice that she is the one to beat at the European Championships here in Sweden in Gothenburg in August.
