New graffiti laws not helping to keep Sweden clean & tidy
It is being claimed the legislation which was introduced two years ago has had little impact.
The graffiti commission in Stockholm says there has not been any big decrease in the problem, despite punishments and more powers for the police to look for evidence.
Traffic bosses in Sweden’s second biggest city, Gothenburg, say things have not got any better there either.
Meanwhile the cost of clearing off graffiti in the capital has actually increased.
