Opposition leader Reinfeldt backs Persson on Middle East

Opposition leader Fredrik Reinfeldt has thrown his support behind Göran Persson’s statements on the crisis in the middle east, saying a Moderate Party-led government would act no differently.

Reinfeldt wants Sweden to continue to urge self-control in the region, adding that Israel has the right to defend itself, but not with the actions they’re currently taking.  He also says that it is completely unacceptable that UN personnel have been killed in the bombings and for that, Israel is receiving well-grounded criticism.
