Published onsdag 16 augusti 2006 kl 14.04

The Swedish Nobel foundation has announced there is no danger of German writer Gunther Grass of loosing his Nobel prize in literature – as some critics have been demanding.

The writer has named for the first time in his memoires that he was enlisted in the German SS at the age of 17 – outraging some.

The Nobel foundation confirms that no nobel prize has even been withdrawan – and that once it’s handed out, it’s a life-time honor.
