Sweden’s becoming a more popular place to study for students from abroad.

With many universities now offering classes in english, numbers have leapt up.

Sweden’s migration board has published figures showing the numbers of students applying for temporary visas.

Since January this year, the number of non-European Union applicants has gone up by 32 percent compared to the same period last year.

The figures reached a peak during the summer months.

Most students arrive from Pakistan, China and Nigeria. Education here is free but foreign students must be able to prove that they can support themselves financially.
