Social Democrats Back In The Lead

Published torsdag 24 augusti 2006 kl 13.38

Election opinion polls are being published practically every day in Sweden now as the country approaches September the 17th.

The latest one by Ruab on behalf of Dagens Industri has overturned recent polls by suggesting that support for the ruling Social Democrats and their left wing allies has increased and they’re now leading the opposition alliance.

The left bloc has a lead of 1.7 percent in the poll, which was carried out between the 12th and 22nd of August.

Meanwhile, Swedes abroad were able to cast their vote from today.
