Swedish researchers say breast milk "kills" cancer cells
The claims follow two studies at the university hospital in the south-west town of Lund.
It is thought that a special protein in the milk can make cancer cells commit suicide, without damaging nearby healthy tissue.
In one study the protein was used against a benign form of skin cancer and 80 per cent of patients got better.
In the other, patients with bladder cancer were injected with the protein and again the tumour cells died.
