It’s being called an ”historic day.” After 12 years of Social Democratic minority rule, the opposition center-right Alliance for Sweden has won the Swedish elections.

In today’s edition we’ll bring you all the latest on the elections and what the country can expect now.

Inger Arenander is commentator on domestic issues at Swedish Natonal Radio. She tells Azariah Kiros that the main reason for the victory by the Alliance was their success in highlighting issues which the electorate believed were of paramount importance:
